I truly believe that everyday should be greeted with the expectation of something new and adventurous.  This doesn’t mean that you need to go backpacking into the wilderness everyday, but that you should be ok with letting your mind wander and dream and reach for the unknown.  Heck, even a day spent in bed can be a wild adventure – and no, get your mind out of the gutter!

Light often symbolizes hope and opportunity.  We naturally gravitate towards towards light.  I chose to name my blog Chasing Sunrises because I’m always reaching for a purpose and a new adventure.  Plural sunrises because once one adventure is down, another begins.  This blog is where I’ll put my uncensored observations, hopes and judgements as I chase my sunrises.  Feel free to chase some with me!
